It recognizes that forest resource management is context specific, ever-changing, and involves uncertainties, and that the best evidence is derived from a systematic process which aims to minimize bias” (Petrokofsky, Holmgren & Brown 2011, after Sackett et al. 1996 and McKibbon 1998)
