Central Sulawesi is one of the biggest source of rattan plants in Indonesia. Rattan is one of bamboo family as a furniture and craft products with the worldwide market. One of the indicator the forest preserved or still natural you can find the rattan in every corner within. Rattan also the plants who absorp/keep the water in the branch/tree so that rattan also as conservation tree in the forest. People surrounding the forest can harvest using ecofriendly harvesting methods.
