HE Bounkham Vorachit

Vice Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Lao PDR

HE Bounkham Vorachit is Lao PDR’s Vice Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, having previously served as Director General in a range of environmental portfolios. She holds a Masters of Agricultural Resources and Environmental Management from the University of Thailand, and a BSc in Pharmacy from Laos National Medical University.

She is the only daughter of the current President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, HE Bounyang Vorachit.
