CIFOR @COP24

CIFOR-Global Landscapes Forum at COP24
Katowice, Poland (4-13 December 2018)

Implementing the right measures to curb global warming is one of the biggest challenges of our time. Facing the consequences of rising temperatures such as fires and flooding,  the world has no time to spare. It is time to turn commitment into action.

For 25 years, the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) has contributed research to help understand and explain the causes of deforestation and forest degradation. CIFOR will bring the latest scientific research, insights and experiences to discussions planned alongside the 24th Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 24). See below details on CIFOR’s involvement.
