New entries for the Think Forests video competition are online, and ready for you to watch and vote.

Videos must answer the question: ‘Why do we need forests for a sustainable future?’

The entries received so far tackle issues as diverse as forests themselves.

The video ‘Think Forests’ shows us the many ways forests contribute to our lives, which is why it is so important to share the message for the future of our planet.

In ‘Tropical forests for climate and development’, animations are used to explain why we need tropical forests and how we can avoid the dangers of deforestation.

‘Like a human being, same as me’ uses interviews from Indigenous leaders from Asia and Latin America are used to explain why Indigenous land rights are a critical issue for environmental, as well as human well-being.

The video that gets the most people commenting will win a prize of US$1000, and all entries are in the running to win the judges’ award of US$4000.
