Photographer’s remarks

KPH South Kedu empowers communities with the intercropping system. After cutting the teak tree crops to cultivate, communities are empowered on the Perhutani land through the opportunity of planting crops, such as upland rice, peanuts, or others. Farmers are also required to plant and care for teak trees so that a mutual benefit can be achieved.
