Photographer’s remarks
People living near the forest have no other means of livelihood, they are resource poor and the majority are landless. Faced with these challenges, they heavily depend on unregulated activities like timber collection. Due to such informal or illegal activities the formerly rich biodiversity of these forests is deteriorating.
