Orang Rimba or Jungle People are a nomadic tribe who live in Sumatra lowland rainforest. The kind of forest product they sell is rattan. Jungle People collect rattan from the forest and bring it to the village in order to sell it to the buyer. The money is used to purchase goods they cannot get from the forest such as rice, sugar, coffee or salt. Once the trade is completed, all the members of the clan go back to the forest.
