We all have our own pet peeves about city life. The traffic jams, the pollution, and the endless rat race that saps away our every ounce of energy. Now, some scientists may have proof that city life can indeed be a hazardous one. The Centre for International Forestry Research or CIFOR, conducted a study recently on a tribe in East Kalimantan. The study aimed to compare life between the Punan tribe members that migrated to the city, and those who still lived in the forests. Results on whether the Punan people did find life better in the city is mixed, as Mr Edmond Dounias from the CIFOR research team reveals.
