African Development Bank (AfDB)


The African Development Bank (AfDB) is a multilateral development finance institution founded in 1964 to spur sustainable economic development and social progress in Africa, thus contributing to poverty reduction. It does so by mobilizing and allocating resources for investment and providing policy advice and technical assistance to support development efforts. The AfDB has supported CIFOR research on climate change and forests in the Congo Basin.
