Swedish International Cooperation Development Agency (SIDA)


The Swedish International Cooperation Development Agency (Sida) is a government agency working on behalf of the Swedish parliament and government, with the mission to reduce poverty, and is operating in 33 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America. Since 1997, Sida has supported CIFOR in its work on landscapes and livelihoods, and  on Africa’s tropical dry forests, as well as work on global trends and change, among others.
