Dr. Amy Ickowitz joined CIFOR as a scientist in the Forests and Livelihoods programme at the start of January this year. Amy got her PhD in Economics from the University of California, Riverside, USA. Prior to joining CIFOR, she was an assistant professor at Clark University, USA. Her research interests are development, natural resource management and health economics.
