Yustina joins CIFOR as a Research Officer in the Forests and Environment portfolio in Bogor. She has involved in CIFOR China related research and is currently working on project called CIFOR China’s Conversion of Croplands to Forest Program (CCFP). Previously, Yustina involved in the project ‘Chinese trade and investment in Africa: assessing and governing trade-offs to national economies, local livelihoods and forest ecosystems’, and Emerging Multinational Market. She holds a Master’s degree in International Development Studies from the Utrecht University, Netherlands, and did her master’s research on land governance in developing countries focusing in impact of hydro dam development to livelihood of forest dependent people in Vietnam. Prior join CIFOR, Yustina worked in environmental local and international NGOs based in Indonesia.
