Veronique De Sy is a Post-Doctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Geo-information Science and Remote Sensing at Wageningen University & Research and is currently working on topics of REDD+, land use change and forest monitoring as part of CIFOR’s Global Comparative study on REDD+. She specializes in interdisciplinary research of land use change dynamics, climate change mitigation and sustainable development, with an emphasis on spatial analysis & remote sensing technologies, and the broader socio-economic context in developing countries.
