Most of the villages in Uttarakhand and other Hill states are dependent on water supply coming from the forest. It is known as the purest and most healthy water - even better than packed mineral water. Traditionally, these areas have been managed by villagers but presently no attention is given to water management. Moreover, a number of forests have been converted to roads, residential areas, industrial and other commercial purposes. There is a serious need to preserve and mange forests for sustainable water supply in rural and remote hill villages.

Great Job by Dr Dhyani for creating awareness among larger community about Himalayan Ecosystem- their vulnerability and adaptation.
ya… its indeed the supreme value.. wonderful theme n pic
A fabulous photo.
Preserve our natural resources now, rather than later, when the damage is more extensive.
Keep it up Dr. Deepak! The Haimalayan ecosystem is very delicate and we must respect it!
nice photo sir keep it up,raise the iisues…for conserve planet and natural resources…
beautiful
LOVELY PIC..
One of the best pics I have came across in years…!! best
Wonderful photograph Dr. Deepak Dhyani.
Saving water can save the life now, and water can only be saved through forests or nantural sources….
Nice Capture
Great..pic.. Really very true fact about our himalayan region in present days. Even we can observe some places where good amount of water was present before 5 year back, now not a drop of seen in that region. Due to deforestation made by human for unplanned development and due to ignorance of nature.
Nice pic, best wishes
very good photo with nice theme
Save our natural resources for the sustainable development, and conserve it.
Water is life..no water no life..lets pledge together to keep it clean..as many are dying also without this universal solvelt..
save the Blue Gold for the survival of coming generation.
Concrete development is killing India’s water supply.
Local warming is depleting himalayan glaciers. Nothing can bring life back to more than 1 billion humans. Once the forests are gone, water is gone.
True lines and a true capture by photographer.Water of forest is nectar for the villagers.
Great..!!

nice pic dear….
Great Initiative.
Dr Deepak Dhyani has rightly raised a pertinent issue of the fragile environment in the Himalayas . Question before us- how best we can preserve mountain forests for for sustainability of water resources before it is too late.
GREAT
Deepakji nobody can compare our ‘NATURAL GARHWAL” with any other area. I’m fully agree with your fantastic FOTO & beautiful view of water flowing through from hill down to plains to give life to others.
During my childhood I read somewhere—-” PRAYER GOES UP,BLESSING COMES DOWN.” proved by picture.
