A multi-stakeholder colloquium was held on 22 November 2017 in Kampala, Uganda, to discuss results so far in a study of land and tenure reform in the country. The research forms part of a Global Comparative Study on Forest Tenure Reform, with simultaneous work ongoing in Uganda, Indonesia and Peru. In this video, speakers discuss some of the gender aspects of forest tenure reform in Uganda, such as ensuring women’s participation in decision-making, and ensuring that they benefit from the land and forests they hold rights to.
