Forest tenure reform in Uganda: Lessons for policy and practice (Part 1/5)

A multi-stakeholder colloquium was held on 22 November 2017 in Kampala, Uganda, to discuss results so far in a study of land and tenure reform in the country. The research forms part of a Global Comparative Study on Forest Tenure Reform, with simultaneous work ongoing in Uganda, Indonesia and Peru. In this overview of the event, speakers discuss the impacts of reform on tenure security for forest-adjacent communities in Uganda, and the lessons for policy and practice going forward.
