U Minh National Park is a preserved mangrove forest, home of a large variety of wild lives including birds, fish, snakes and amphibian. It is home of humans as well. Locals have lived there together with the forest lives for generations. Due to the nature of the peat land and mangroves, the forest has been burned out and yet resurrected a couple of times during the last century. However, the recent expanding of prawn farms has become a looming threat to the forest. Together, it is our responsibility to protect the National Park. We shall live and let it live!
