The project is being implemented in the Mau and Mt. Elgon forests in Kenya and Uganda. In Kenya the sites are Itare and Londiani in Mau Forest and Cheptais, Kimothon, and Sosio in Mt. Elgon. In Uganda, the implementation sites are in Kapchorwa and Bududa districts.
