CIFOR research projects that have been working in West Kalimantan presented their work at the Tanjungpura University (UNTAN) Faculty of Forestry for a one-day knowledge sharing workshop. The Dean of UNTAN Faculty of Forestry, Dr. Gursti Hardiansyah, opened the workshop and Dr. Farah Diba, the Vice Dean, was the moderator.
A series of presentations from various CIFOR work in West Kalimantan and UNTAN research were presented. Further possible collaboration between CIFOR and UNTAN was also discussed including the possibility of select UNTAN students and faculty engaging in the ASFCC research.
