The national scientific meeting entitled “Knowledge Integration and Technology Innovation-Based Restoration of Peat Hydrological Unit”, was organized by Deputy IV of Research and Development, Indonesia Peatland Restoration Agency in Mercure Hotel, Ancol, North Jakarta from 25 to 27 November 2019. PAR CBFPR team in attending the event and participating in the exhibition to communicate PAR CBFPR project to wider audience. The main objective of the national scientific meeting was held to disseminate findings from research funded by the BRG. Most of the research were being carried out by universities in Indonesia and Indonesia Institute of Life Science (LIPI). The main agenda of national scientific meeting comprises of pleno and parallel commission session with exhibition of livelihood products and research posters in the main hall.

Participatory Action Research is a unique research approach that enable creating impact during the research process. PAR CBFPR team has been working for one and a half year with focus on field-testing in Dompas. Dissemination and discussion are also being carried out in other regions as well. As a part to disseminate this unique approach and published publication, three types of communication products were displayed at the national scientific meeting exhibition, those are leaflets, photo panels, and a rolling-up banner.
