30 September Workshop on value chain governance of gender relation in Jepara furniture industry
28 September Training on exhibition arrangement and preparation for small scale furniture producers
27 – 29 July The Department of Industry and National Export Training Centre training on chain of custody, in particular for small-scale furniture producers so they can produce for the certified furniture market.
8–9 June 2nd FVC Annual Meeting in Jepara.
9–10 April Training on quality control and financial management in Jepara.
7–8 April Workshop on the furniture industry structure in Jepara. Participants learnT about the structure of the industry and how to work with other stakeholders and policy makers to strengthen their position in value chains.
2 February Writing workshop for leaders from the furniture industry and local communities to help them develop their writing skills.Participants produced personal accounts of their experiences within the industry and with forest management.
January and February We implemented an institutional survey and a training needs assessment.
