Securing tenure rights for forest dependent community: A Global Comparative Study

 

Local media in Lampung covered an inception workshop held at the Bappeda Office West Lampung District, Liwa on 25 September 2015. The workshop aimed to provide local stakeholders with initial information about the GCS Tenure project and its activities, as well as secure their support for the project. Participants included provincial and district government officials and representatives of civil society and local community groups.

Articles in the Lampung Post and Kupas Tuntas covered the objectives and expected outcomes of the project, emphasizing the project’s overall goal to strengthen the rights of forest-adjacent communities’ on forest land.
