Visas

• Nationals of Australia are issued a visa on arrival at the Brunei International Airport for visits not exceeding 30 days.
• Nationals of Austria, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, the Netherlands, New Zealand and British nationals with the right of abode in the United Kingdom are exempted from the requirement to obtain a visa for visits not exceeding 30 days.
• United States passport holders can enter Brunei Darussalam for 3 months without a visa.
• For nationals of Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Republic of Maldives, Norway, Oman, the Philippines, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Thailand and the Principality of Liechtenstein, visas are waived for 14-day visits.
• All other visitors entering Brunei Darussalam must obtain a visa from any Brunei Darussalam diplomatic mission abroad. Visas are normally issued for a two-week stay but can be renewed in Brunei. Visitors must hold onward tickets and sufficient funds to support themselves while in the country. Visitors can pay cash for a visa on arrival in Bruneian Dollars (BND) or Singaporean Dollars (SGD).
