Cambodia Community Forestry Project Manager, APFNet
Ms Sun Weina is a program officer with the Asia-Pacific Network for Sustainable Forest Management and Rehabilitation (APFNet), a start-up that is committed to promoting sustainable forest management and rehabilitation in the Asia-Pacific region. Weina is in charge of managing projects in the Greater Mekong sub-region and across Southeast Asia. The projects mainly focus on the policy, science and practices of community-based forest restoration and rehabilitation, and are geographically scattered across Lao PDR, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Papua New Guinea. She holds an M.A in Applied Linguistics from the Beijing International Studies University (BISU) and a M.A. of Economics from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE).
