Mr Thongsavanh Souliyamath is the President of the Lao Wood Processing Industry Association and the owner of Lao Furniture KM5 Co., Ltd. Established in 1996, the company now has exported various finished goods to many countries throughout the world, namely the European Union, France, Netherlands, Australia and Japan. Foreseeing the future on the legal timber use, the company has worked and implemented COC system and cooperation with local people on plantation, as a main source of timber processing. The company also ensures that occupational safety and health aspects of the workers and staff are enforced.
