COBAM Newsletter

Information on climate change and its links with forests are not readily available in Central Africa. The concept of climate change and its processes evolve so quickly that decision makers are hard pressed to keep up. COBAM is developing a quarterly newsletter to provide stakeholders with up-to-date information on Climate Change issues in the Congo basin and COBAM project advancements.

The Newsletter counts on 6 sections: the editorial, a science section that includes news on science outputs and publications, a section on COBAM’s activities including workshops, meetings and advancement of the pilot projects, a “Briefs” section that provides short information on important data in the Congo Basin Forests, an “Agenda” that lists coming events on forests, sustainable development and Climate Change issues in the sub region, and two interviews.
