Cecep Kusmana is an ecologist and an expert in mangrove forest silviculture. He obtained his PhD in Kyoto University, Japan, and obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees at the Bogor Agricultural University, Indonesia. His professional area of expertise is mangrove forest ecology and he has been publishing hundreds of publications and articles related to mangrove conservation and ecology. His newest publication can be found in Biodiversity Journal and is titled “Growth performance of Bruguiera gymnorrhiza derived from cutpropagule seedling”. He is currently a professor at the Bogor Agricultural University.
