Silverio is a history lecturer and member of the Academic Senate at Sanata Dharma University, Yogyakarta. Previously, he an associate researcher with Eos Consultants and CARE-Bogor Agricultural University. Currently, he is researching community development and corporate social responsibility at the Center for Environmental Studies at Sanata Dharma University and working on “Opportunities and challenges to developing REDD+ benefit sharing mechanisms in developing countries project” Indonesia Case for Sanata Dharma University and CIFOR. He also gained experience as an assessor of Forest Stewardship Council for quality forest management. Sampurno earned his Bachelors degree in Indonesian History and Master degree in Humanities from Gadjah Mada University.
