
Ani Adiwinata Nawir is currently a socioeconomics scientist and policy analyst in the Sustainable Landscape and Food System Team at the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR). She is now coordinating the policy research component with the application at the landscape level in the second phase of the project on “Development of timber and non-timber forest products’ production and market strategies for improvement of smallholders’ livelihoods in Indonesia”. She is also coordinating the other project on: “Integrated watershed management approach for enhancing local livelihoods and biodiversity conservation in Indonesia” that is also analyzing on how to operationalize the landscape approach on the ground. She also had experience in facilitating and leading the private sector forum communication, which served as a forum for companies to exchange experiences in developing community-company partnership schemes. She completed her PhD at the Australian National University (ANU)’.
