Dr. Made Hesti Lestari Tata is a senior researcher with the Research, Development and Innovation Agency of the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry (FOERDIA). She earned her doctorate from Utrecht University’s Department of Plant Ecology and Biodiversity. She specializes in peatlands conservation and restoration, rubber agroforests and plantations, multifunctional agriculture and tree diversity.
