As Production Forestry Senior Manager at The Nature Conservancy in Indonesia, Ruslandi leads TNC’s program to conserve production forests in Indonesia through promoting reduced impact logging-carbon (RIL-C), forest certification, silvicultural intensification, forest restoration, and developing an innovative business model to improve the profitability of natural forest management. Before joining TNC, Ruslandi worked as a postdoctoral associate for the science for nature and people partnership (SNAPP) project at the Department of Biology, University of Florida. Previously he worked for the Food Agriculture Organization (FAO) of United Nations and on several donor-funded development projects related to forestry in Indonesia. He obtained his MSc degree in Forestry from the University of Oxford and PhD degree in tropical forest conservation from the University of Florida.
