Mr Thomas Colonna is the FLEGT Advisor China and Regional Asia at the EU FLEGT Facility of the European Forest Institute in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He supports the implementation of the Bilateral Coordination Mechanism on Forest Law Enforcement and Governance between China and the European Union. He also supports the FLEGT process in Myanmar and monitors timber legality developments in the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to EFI, Thomas spent 8 years at the Forest Stewardship Council where he managed FSC’s global conflict resolution program. Thomas has a Master of Science in International Public Policy from the University College London and a Master of Arts from the University of Freiburg.
