Trinh Long holds a Bachelors degree in Forestry from the Vietnam Forestry University and a Masters degree in Carbon Management of the University of Edinburgh, UK. He has nearly 20 years of experience working for national, international organizations and consulting for groups, such as WWF, FFI, GFA, GIZ, SNV, ILO, UNDP. He has gained deep knowledge and experience in biodiversity conservation, sustainable forest management, natural resources management, sustainable livelihood and climate change adaptation and mitigation. He has work in a number of countries, including Vietnam, Bhutan, Indonesia, Lebanon, Vanuatu, the United Kingdom and China. He is currently working for International Bamboo and Rattan Organisation (INBAR) as the Program Coordinator of Global Assessment of Bamboo and Rattan for green development program. He is based at the INBAR headquarters in Beijing.
